The PostgreSQL Certification project was created for the purpose of creating a community driven PostgreSQL certification. Our primary focus is the development of a series of tiered certifications to allow our community to present professionals of a basic, intermediate and advanced caliber to the commercial arena.

The commercial arena is comprised of employers who wish to obtain PostgreSQL services. This could be a PostgreSQL Company such as Command Prompt, Inc. or a PostgreSQL user like Emma. Lastly this can help our independent consultants procure more work as they will be recognized as some level of a PostgreSQL expert.
